Lappy
Up until now — and I suspect for the majority of days still to come — the shit I’ve been giving away has been vain. My routines are unaffected (outside of having to blog every day) and nothing has been difficult to part with.
It’s a Sony Vaio VGN-FZ140E, and it’s been my primary computer for the past few years. I’m not so much giving it away as I am returning it to the person who originally footed the bill. So thank you Mom. This made insufferable morning classes bearable and allowed me to work from the third floor of the library instead of a beer drenched fraternity house.
What will I do for future computing? I still have my desktop computer, but my new main squeeze…
Yes, it’s a Dell Mini 10v. Yes, that’s a WALL-E wallpaper. No, that’s not the out-of-box operating system. Yes, it’s fantastic.
And just to give you an idea of scale…
It only took 39 days, but finally something substantial.

Thanks bud,
This machine will be one of our major “links” (via Skype) to you in the months to come. Now I just have to learn how to use Skype _ lol don’t worry I won’t ask — I’ll google it :) Love ya!
