Correspondence
Last month I wrote briefly about the 100 Days of Less process for ditching useless shit when in a hurry. Now on Day 54, I’m having the same kind of day. I’ve kept busy and just need to do the deed before I can sleep, but this late in the game things have changed. I don’t own ridiculous ties. I must make real choices about things I would not throw away, were it not for this blog.
With that, goodbye dear letters. I don’t know how many future generations will know what it’s like to write or read handwritten mail. Lord knows I’ve only received a few pieces, and when I did it tended to mean something special.
No, I will not be sharing the contents of the letters with the world. I’ll give them one last read before tossing them into the back of a metal dumpster. If you want to read some awesome letters, check out one of my favorite new blogs, Letters of Note.
