Books Part II: Assorted
You can take one or all, I don’t care as long as they find owners who will provide the fresh eyes they deserve.
I also need your help. In the event that some of these books go unadopted, where should I donate them?
From right to left:
- Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book *Taken
- Cervantes: Exemplary Stories
- The Average American Male
- Franz Kafka: The Complete Stories — Oh my fuck, somebody please take this and love it. *Taken
- Phaedo
- Why We Don’t Talk to Each Other Anymore *Taken
- The Spell of the Sensuous
- Romeo and Juliet (You can have it, but really, do I need to link it?)
- Lolita *Taken
- How We Are Hungry *Taken
- Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect
- Light For My Path
- The Tewa World
- Prey
- Fish! — I want you to picture a manager at a large company. Your boss, perhaps. This manager attends a big managing seminar with all the other middle managers where the lot of ‘em learn how to improve worker productivity, synergize resources, and move the fucking needle. They’re pumped, ready to change the world, and when they return to the workplace, do nothing or nothing useful. They probably got this book at the seminar. I won mine by answering a question at something comparable.
- Less Than Zero *Taken
- The Eve of St. Venus
- Diary
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
- The Raven and Other Poems *Taken
- 75 Short Masterpieces — So abused that the front cover decided to end the cycle and leave.

Hey bud If “We Don’t Talk To Each Other Anymore” isn’t taken it may I have it. I read some of the incerpts and it looked interesting. I know I am not in SLO but figured you could bring it in March. I promise after I read it to pass it on to someone else!
Deal.
I’ll take Kafka and Poe collections, if they’re not already taken.
You missed out on Kafka by 3 minutes but Poe is all yours, sir.
Damn it all. Oh well, one out of two ain’t bad.
Perhaps the best way would be to pass it over to @SkullDuggerT, since he is a person I see fairly regularly. Or I could pick it up, if need be.
Nice selection. Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was a good one.
