Apple TV
It was a gift. There’s a story here, one of considerable length and complexity. I’ll probably tell it in detail someday, but for now I need to set it aside and say:
The people who gave me this are awesome and it meant a lot to me.
This little guy has a better home now with my parents, which works out well from a technology angle anyway. These things shoot video out through your choice of component or HDMI in 1080i. My TV has one thing for video, one thing for audio, and a few gnomes hand-sketching the picture every few seconds.
